Moonsong Foster Malamutes >> Ringo
Size: Large | Age: Young | Gender: Male | Breed: Alaskan Malamute
Hi! I’m Ringo! Even though I look big I’m still just a baby, right around a year old. And my first year was pretty adventurous! My mom now CAN’T say for sure where I’ve been or what I was up to but she CAN say I wasn’t groomed, I came to Rescue with a really bad, matted coat full of burrs and sticks and who knows what else. It was so bad I had to be shaved to take care of all the stickers and pokies that had made their way into my skin. So my new home will HAVE to be committed to taking care of my coat and helping me grow it back. She CAN also say I didn’t spend my first year of life getting trained! Mentally I’m like a new baby puppy who gets frighten at new things, needs to learn doggie manners and pretty much about everything that life has to offer. So my new home will HAVE to be committed to teaching me things and being patient because I get pretty scared at first and pretty anxious with change. She CAN also say I probably spent a lot of time running around because I’m an escape artist!! So my new home will HAVE to be committed to keeping me contained. Can you imagine if I got lost what that would be like for me, especially since I’m pretty shy and anxious about new things? SCARY!!! She CAN also say when I get comfy with new people (its takes some time!) I like cuddles and loves, I like couches, I like people beds and pillows and I LOVE SARDINES!!! So my new home will HAVE to be committed to being patient with me until I get comfy and enjoy all these things in a new place, but also make sure I have the structure I need. All in all it sounds like I need A LOT of work. But these people who are helping me think I’m worth it, and if you’re serious and committed I think you will too!
