Hi there, Tundra here. I’m a young male Malamute and Husky mix who wandered onto a ranch in Eastern Idaho and ended up at a small shelter. Sadly, no one came for me and my time at the shelter was coming to an end. Some nice people came to the shelter to meet me and they learned that I am a very sweet and cautious boy. I get along with ALL dogs and reportedly with small farm animals and cats that I met while at the ranch.
As you can see, I’m a handsome boy with one blue eye and one brown eye. I’m on the smaller side, 50 lbs or so, what some people call “fun size” for a northern breed. I have one floppy ear and one erect ear and have the mellowest and sweetest personality you can imagine. I’m cautious at first but will warm up to you once I trust you.
I’m currently living in a foster home with a confident female Malamute who is teaching me the ropes. She’s taught me to use a doggy door, how to live in a house and I’m learning about toys. I’ve learned that these Moonsong people are nice, and they’ve introduced me to lots of doggy friends. I’m even getting comfortable enough to get the zoomies.
From Moonsong: Tundra would do well in a home with a confident older dog. He is very gentle and mellow and may be able to live with a dog savvy cat.
