Good day folks! Arrow here. Just like my name, I aim to be pointed in the direction of my furever home. I am really excited to share the new adventures I’ve been on! The nice hooman that is taking care of me taught me how to bikejor! She said I did really well for my first outing, and I can tell you I LOVED IT! I am learning that my past life is worth forgetting and it’s time for new chapters. Check out the pictures of me enjoying my new exercise program! I’m one lucky dude.
I came in to a shelter as a stray and Moonsong rescued me in the nick of time. My personality has been revealing that I am a cautious sweet boy who just needs someone to help show me the ropes. Slow introductions to people will be a must. It helps me get to know you on my terms. There is no doubt that if you’re calm and patient with me, I will eventually become your best furry friend. Lately, I have been learning leash walking skills. I thoroughly enjoy my walkabouts and I am good about not pulling. I even passed by some chickens without even missing a beat! One thing that really motivates me is treats! I will sit nicely and even take the treat with a soft mouth. Oh, and if given the opportunity, I love to give you kisses!
It may be that in my previous life, I didn’t get a lot of exposure being around other pups. Big male dogs are a bit intimidating to me. Although I am learning that the ladies can be my friends. NEWSFLASH: A new and playful female husky has come to play with me! So, a larger, friendly, confident female would suit me best. We have been enjoying ourselves immensely! Or being the only doggo in the home would work well for me too.
My dream home would be having a family committed to helping me flourish to my true potential and help me find out that the big old world out there is safe place. And maybe we can go out on the trails and bikejor or even run together! Get that leash and let’s go!
