Greetings! My name is Everest. I am a gorgeous 2-year-old female husky, waiting patiently for the perfect home to come along. I am a typical northern breed teenager; I need plenty of exercise to keep me from getting bored. At my first home, I figured out how to dig out of the yard, so it’s probably safe to say I might try that again no matter where I go. But maybe not, since I love the attention of my people! In my new foster home, I’ve been playing with several dogs of all sizes and we have so much fun! I would love a home with another confident dog. Since I lived with the same people all of my life up until now, I am a little hesitant about new people. But I am learning to trust and am happy to follow my foster family around. I have learned to love my crate for my quiet time. I also might be good with cats! I stayed for a short time with a family who had 5 cats. They were wise to dogs like me and we just had fun and got along great. I suppose it depends on if the cat is used to big dogs. I love to cuddle, and am thankful for any time spent with people. I’m good with children as long as they are respectful, so older kids would be a better option for me. Ok, one small downside to my personality… I pull when I’m on leash. I am a husky after all. But with some proper training (I am smart!) I could learn to put that energy to good use.
Please reach out to Moonsong and make arrangements to meet me. Isn’t Everest the name of the tallest mountain? Well, sing along with me: “Ain’t no mountain high enough to keep me away from wooooooo!”
