Greetings! My name is Everest. I am a gorgeous 2-year-old female husky, waiting patiently for the perfect home to come along. I am a typical northern breed teenager; I need plenty of exercise to keep me from getting bored. I like to carry on conversations with my foster family, awwoooo and woof telling them what I want! In my first home, I figured out how to dig out of the yard, so it’s important I have a secure yard. In my new foster home, I’ve been playing with several dogs of all sizes and we have so much fun! When one dog gets tired, I play with the next one! I would love a home with another confident dog (or two)! Since I lived with the same people all of my life up until now, I am a little hesitant about new people. But I am learning to trust and am happy to follow my foster family around. My new foster family has been teaching me so much great stuff, and I am very treat motivated so it makes training pretty easy. I have learned to love my crate for my quiet time. I also might be good with cats! I stayed for a short time with a family who had 5 cats. I suppose it depends on if the cat is used to big dogs. I love to cuddle, and am thankful for any time spent with people. I’m good with children as long as they are respectful, so older kids would be a better option for me. Ok, one small downside to my personality… I pull when I’m on leash. I am a husky after all. But with some proper training (I am smart!) I could learn to put that energy to good use. I would love to attend some training sessions with a new family!

Please reach out to Moonsong and make arrangements to meet me. Isn’t Everest the name of the tallest mountain? Well, sing along with me: “Ain’t no mountain high enough to keep me away from wooooooo!”
