Hi, my name is Major and as you can see, I’m a beautiful cream and white Malamute with soulful brown eyes. I’m a little over 2 years old and was found as a stray. Like most Mals I can be a little boisterous, but I LOVE ALL DOGS! I play with all sizes, respectfully and am not pushy. Of course, careful introductions are a must as they should be for all dogs.
I take treats with a soft mouth, ride well in a car and have been told my personality is “silly”. I woo have to say that I’m fun loving, playing, outgoing and confident! Two of my favorite things are stuffies and balls! Yup, a Mal who loves balls! I know sit, down, and shake. I walk well on leash too! Okay I do start out a little fast…what Mal doesn’t, but I settle down quickly. The shelter where I came from spent a lot of time working with me. They say I’m a fast learner and a super smart pup!
I have not been around cats or kiddos, but due to my size I’d prefer a home with children 8 years or older.
