Odin

Hello, my name is Odin and I am a 1 year old handsome male Malamute. I am super sweet, outgoing, curious and I just love people. No surprise that I’m full of youthful energy and would love to find an active human or family to go on long walks and hikes. And hey, if you are a runner, I can do that too. My foster Mom said I am super smart and learning basic commands is a breeze for me. When I go on walks, I get very excited when I see other dogs and even though I am only a year old, I am large in stature and very strong. So, it will be important to have someone help me continue with my force free positive training.  My prior family could not keep me anymore because they were overwhelmed with young kids and did not have a fenced yard for me. Now I’m super excited to find my new furever home. I have been so good to the kids in my foster home and we have been having a ball playing out in the yard together. I even sleep in the hallway between the kids bedroom so I can keep a close eye on them. Just keep in mind, that even though I have been socialized around children, I will still need them to treat me in a respectful manner. I am up to date on vaccinations, chipped and Moonsong will be getting me neutered when I have finished growing. Like most Malamutes, I have a strong prey drive, so I will need a home without cats and small dogs. Other playful large dogs would be great for me, as I am still full of puppy energy.
