Wooooo! Hi my name is Raine! And I am almost pocket sized, at least I think I am. My tail is a helicopter blade, and it is always swinging around! My excitement for life is beyond measure. I love being around people and other dogs. But back to my tail, because I love chasing that thing around and making circles. I love chew toys, pets, snuggles, and attention. I know basic commands such as sit and stay. I love being on a leash and learning manners. I am getting better with support from my foster parents, they are awesome! I will be two in October, so I am still very puppyish.
I’m in a foster home with several other northern breed dogs, and we’ve been getting along famously. But Moonsong recommends a careful meet and greet with any new dog. I certainly have prey drive….. Rabbits and birds and squirrels are soooo tempting! Any smaller dogs may not be a good fit for me and cats either. I will be protective of my food bowl with other dogs, so will need to be fed separately and the food bowl picked up when I have finished. I’m not afraid to get my front paws up on things, (think COUNTERTOP), so keep things out of my reach. I am a busy bee, after all.
